QLD now has Covid community transmission

QLD now has Covid community transmission

And I wish the pandemic had never started!

I just can't believe it. my support worker is turning up soon so they will be a welcome distraction for awhile.

I feel very disillusioned. I feel like the government has let us down. I feel like they just pretend to care but really they don't. All the stupid lies about how we can prevent the spread of this virus needs to stop, once a germ gets around, that's it you just have to try to avoid getting sick. I never thought anybody could stop the spread of this virus going around the world, and today I just found out that my fears are confirmed. Please stay safe and well everybody!

@Former-Member they say we will all catch Covid at some point in the next few months. I am dreading it but trying to accept it.

At least you can still have your support worker, that's great 🙂

Re: QLD now has Covid community transmission

@NatureLover I hope I've had my third Covid booster by then. I have a lot of bad temper and anger problems that I need psychiatric treatment for, because of this pandemic and the lack of care by the world's governments, all acting important and hoity-toity but doing nothing to stop the spread of Covid. I also don't support social isolation and lockdowns, what difference have these draconian methods made? None whatsoever. I'm trying so awfully hard not to go back to the psychiatric unit. So far so good. We'll see how I go over the rest of today...

@Former-Member I just booked in for my 3rd shot but can't get it till the 18th. My biggest fear is getting sick when hubby is away and having no one to look after me, or worst still, ending up in hospital and having no one here to take care of the animals. I have never been what you would call super healthy, and my luck, if I got it, I would get it bad.

Both my kids are in QLD and my grandkids, so I'm hoping it doesn't spread too quickly there. I have heard some bad things in the US about covid and little kids.

You are right about our government letting us down big time. I just heard about a company in Australia making rapid tests and sending them to the US cause Scotty from Marketing said we wouldn't be needing them.😳

@Molly22 yep this is typical of Scotty the Potty. I cannot stand our politicians at all, much less our prime minister. They expect us to show respect while they don't return it.
Yes, it's shocking how long one has to wait for vaccinations considering the government thinks Coverd 19 is so bad yet they force us to wait around. Another paradoxical irony in my book. i'm hoping you won't get sick before the 18th, maybe just avoid people as much as you can. From what you write, you seem to be okay with handling your health so I presume hopefully, that you won't need to go to the hospital and you can stay with your animals. I'm sure they are good company for you. I hope your day is going well!
