I've posted once before. But I'm at a bit of a end at the moment and I don't know what to do. I've seen a psychiatrist twice, but she hasn't asked me to come back, but instead asked me to follow up with my GP. But I still don't feel like the tablets are working, and I told the psychiatrist that. However, my GP is away. My pathologist, I don't feel is helping, even though I haven't seen her in weeks, I kept having blanking out episodes in her office. I have this amazing friend who is getting messages from me every day because I can't cope but I just don't want to bother her. I keep quitting. About once a week, I go through a stage where I want to quit everything I'm doing. I've been to the local hospital twice but not much help, in fact, I would never go back. I don't feel like anyone takes me seriously. I have suicidal thoughts almost daily. I just want to feel better. I've been pretending that nothing is wrong for so long that it's normal for me, but so exhausting. I'm angry because I don't understand or explain what's happening. I hate it.
Daily SI suicidal ideation is a very tough gig. Dont take it all personally .. there is an epidemic around. It is no way to live but shouldnt be the end of your world.
Go gentleigh with you but also find ways to discharge negative thoughts appropriately .. that dont get you locked up ... also trying for some humour
Keep looking for effective counselling help.
There needs to be more regulation in the psychology industry ... not just fear of disbarring .. but more thoroughgoing ... so REFLECTIVE practice and transparency occurs, beyond mere therapist supervision sessions.

Re: Struggling.
@Former-Member. Don't give up seeking the right help you need and deserve. Did you tell this psychiatrist you have daily suicidal thoughts? If you did and he left you in the hands of your gp - I'd look for a new psychiatrist. Have you been given a diagnosis? The reason I ask is to try to find a psychologist and psychiatrist that specialise in that diagnosis. How long is your gp away? If there are other doctors in her practice - I'd suggest seeing one of them until your gp returns. At least then you will have someone listening to you and who can also monitor your moods. That way - if you need hospitalisation - they can help get you in. Try and take things one moment at a time. Try focusing on something you enjoy.
