Discharge Tomorrow
So the past 2 weeks have been tough and honestly really difficult, I've made a lot of progress and had my highs and lows.
I've come to see my relationship for what it was toxic and bordering on abusive, unintentional but it was still there. The past few months I feel like I have been being gaslit, I can realise now that my now ex partner contributed if not caused my psychotic break and destabilisation,
I also realise that since breaking my first bone this year I have slowly gone downhill and finding my partner engaging in inappropriate behaviour caused a meltdown. The past few months all the boundaries of the relationsip were broken and trampled all over. I told him I wasn't comfortable with certain things, yet he continued, there was no respect.
My stay here has been exceptionally cathartic and I've finally started to find me again and feeling her finally return.
The staff here have been fantastic as well as the support I've received here. I've made some fantastic new friends which I hope will carry on to the outside and the group of people I've been in here wth have been a bunch of lovely kind souls, whose compasssion has been phenomenal.
So where to from here, apart from technically being homeless, I'm looking forward to starting my new life, there is a lot of mixed emotions about leaving here, which I expected but feel in a stronger place to cope with them and believe finally that I can make it on my own.
I've managed to organise a bit in here and managed to focus on me instead of others for a change, it's helped to realise so much. Now I'm looking forward to returning to work and getting my life back and finding a permanent place so that I can get my puppers back living with me as they can't stay with me, but that's a problem for later when I have some more funds, I am also slowly learning that not all problems can or need to solved straight away and that sometimes they have to wait, maybe that's something else I've leaarnt, patience.
