Acceptance lash backs

Acceptance lash backs

Hi My world is spinning ATM.

Chronic Severe Depression, Anxiety, PTSD, Bipolar Disorder, BPD, PTSD and ADHD.

was coping mostly well. Then Started actually admitting to self about my reality and letting go of societies expectations, found places of acceptnce and understanding.

Starting learning how live with myself not despite myself. I am scared of the support, not used to having people actually be here for me. I'm the person everyone comes to. am a single parent my kids have own medical needs. Dr's and everyone sees how organised i am for them that they don't believe or see me falling the peices inside. found a support group locally (known about for years(ha taken others to)just admitted that i can use support for myself) in the last week.

Confirmed to have everyone of the seperate diagnosis's.

Now am going through severe ups and down first time in years.

Feel like losing mind from having the internal permission to let go of the tight control/hiding the symptoms, that none understand. feel like a loose helium balloon caught in the wind.

Hi @nony,

I really hear that things are difficult at the moment and that you're experiencing ups and downs which can be very difficult to navigate. It can be really hard to reach out for support, especially when you're usually the person that everyone goes to but its so important that we look after ourselves as well. I'm glad you've found these forums and have also found that local support group that you can also reach out to. I'm sure some other members will come by shortly and offer some more support.

Take care, CalmingNature

Hi and welcome, @nony , it's good you've joined.

That is such a lot of conditions you have to manage, I really feel for you.

I'm wondering iof you have any professional support in place? Like a trusted GP, medication, a counsellor /psychologist /psychiatrist?

A handy forum tip is if you type @ and click on a name in the drop-down box, that person will get a notification and won't miss your reply.

I hope you find the forums helpful.

@NatureLoverThank you, I am currently taking anti Depressants and ADHD medication. My Depression is my scary state, and the ADHD is my everyday. So taking the ADHD medication helps keep the house clean. I am focusing only on the everyday things atm. I am on the waiting list to see a psychologist that specialises in ADHD, BPD and is Trauma informed. as these all require different treatments. have spend years putting systems and doing the personal growth work, to be where i am today.

This year i let go of my mums expectations and values which is part of the reason i feel so easily blown around, Admitting that i can't do this myself and admitting that my conditions do impact me on a daily basis to the point of being debilitating. Admitting that i need help both support and physical help, is huge by itself. It wasn't until i starting looking at what ADHD(diagnosed July 2021) is and the statigies needed that i found a community that understands no judgement. And through that actually realised that community is what i need. I got told about the local support through a NDIS access person, burst into tears at the realisation that its a support for me(have taken/introduced many others to the service).

I had a Meltdown today on the 31st of Oct, first in about 6yrs. realised that i wanted to talk to others that live with these illnesses daily. And here i am

Thank You @NatureLover and @Former-Member for your welcoming words and the sent through Hugs. Sending Hugs back.

Hi @nony , I'm impressed with how you're managing your MIs (mental illnesses).

Especially this.

I'm also glad you're on the waiting list for a suitable psych who specialises in what you need 🙂 I hope it's not too long a wait.

For me the depression is my scary one, too.

You can type any subject into the search bar above to find threads on that topic.

I hope you enjoy exploring the forums.
