Waking up with realizations

Waking up with realizations

hello everyone after drinking last night I woke up with some realizations slighty hungover but ironically thinking clear about some things ,one someone who I thought cares actually doesnt so now now Im not too stressed about caring either about this person, special someone, but you know what one Im not dissapointed and two Im stronger from going through alot of things this year and so its kind of my fault anyway for starting to have feelings for someone who didnt have any real feelings for me,have I been used quite possibly but then again I chose to be unclear just as he chose to be unclear but at least now I know the truth so that I can decide differently in future ,one thing I know is Im strong and as that song goes what doesnt hurt you makes you stronger ,yes Ive gone through tears and missing someone emotionally,Ive had insonia and sleep problems but anyway live and learn ,its better not to have feelings for someone else its toughened me up and its better not to care either ,the choice is mine now wether or not to continue this thing or wether to leave this person instead of just waiting and waiting till they eventually leave me ,Im a big girl I can handle this and whatever lessons needed to be learned Im stronger for it,Im ok whatever happens ,Im safe just needed to share some thoughts ,may post more later if needed

Re: Waking up with realizations

I'm doing well @LostAngel Thanks for asking. 🙂

Being assertive is definiitley a muscle that I need to strengthen too. It takes practice.

Hey @Former-Member!

Welcome to the forums. I'm one of the mods, just thought I'd check in with you, if you're feeling lost. Anything I can help with?

Re: Waking up with realizations

Hey @Former-Member , I'm sorry to hear that it feels like no one can help you. It sounds like you are determined to be your own best support, which is admirable... however, in my experience we all need help from time to time. Humans are biologically very social creatures, and our ability to ask for help is one of our most important survival skills. I'd encourage you to give it a go reaching out - you can try the SANE Help Centre (1800 18 7263) or reach out to a crisis service:

Lifeline: 13 11 14 or Crisis Chat

Suicide call back service: 1300 659 467 or online counselling

Samaritans: 135 247

If in immediate danger: 000

Hope tonight gets a bit easier for you.
