Podcast recommendations

Hi, here's some great podcasts I listen to on Spotify I thought I'd share:

Podcast for mental health/general life struggles is Dr Thema: The homecoming podcast. Fantastic, one of the reasons I started using spotify. Theres a few directly about mental health that I listened to when I can't sleep. There's also a great Mothers Day episode with her mother on that's very inspiring.

A few fun podcasts are Brooke and Linda's Dreamclub. They're friends who used to work on Triple J and do a weekly review on what's happening around the world.

The friendship onion is Billy and Dom or Pippin and Merry from Lord of the Rings. A very chilled pod that has LoTR involved guest stars sometimes like Stephan Colbert or Elijah Wood.

Sentimental Garbage looks at favourite 'chick lit' books, then a mini pod on Sex and the City, and now a new season on trashy stuff people love. I started reading a few books theyve talked about and found new favourite authors like Jill Mansell. Caroline and Dolly Alderton on the mini pod are also authors and I read their books too, highly recommend Dollys's first book 'Everything I need to know about love'.

Bang On, another weekly review with ex Triple J hosts, but its like theyre your favourite aunties.

Ghosts of Boyfriends Past, dating stories that have me laughing in the street as I listen. I do tend to skip the trigger warning ones.

The Big Film Buffet, a movie review. I listened to season 2 and found some good movies like Concert Cowboy (urban cowboys with Idris Elba) and Resort to Love (cheesy but cute rom com).
