Need help on my terms

Recently started new anti depressants and have a review with psych tomorrow. Things are not going well and I am not feeling safe. How do I discuss this with doc without risk of being involuntarily commited/assessed. I'm not well, I can see that, but have current commitments I can not 'outsource' or post pone. I'm too worried about even phoning a help line when I'm at my worst and am not convinced this post won't have consequences either... but I'm desperate and need advise

@Mememe Hi, I would tell them just what you have said here that you arent coping but that you have commitments that you intend to honnor. ususally hospitalization is a last resort and if you are willing to work with them in the community there shouldnt be a need to send you there.

I totally agree with @Eden1919 - tell them as it is. If you can be reasoned with, it means they won't just hospitalise you involuntarily.

Doctors don't hospitalise people for the sake of it.
