Something’s not right

Just be, I'm told, Just be!

Just be, I'm told, Just be!

Just be, I'm told, Just be

But this is me, I am "just be"

I tell myself, stay calm, stay nice

But this is me, I am "just be"

Tonight will be different, I will hide the monster

But this is me, I am "just be"

I awoke this morning feeling in control, the day wore on

But this is me, I am "just be"

Put it to the side, keep it burried

But this is me, I am "just be"

I feel so alone, I feel so sad

But this is me, I am "just be"

I buggered it up again, please try harder

But this is me, I am "just be"

Tomorrow is a new day, maybe I'll be better

But this is me, I am "just be"

Thanks @tw70. I really enjoyed your poem. I too have been guilty of telling people to 'just be'. You've given me something to think about

Hi @tw70 My being feels like it is constantly changing though there are probably constant aspects as well. Sometimes I get a cooped up feeling and love to get outside ... but it is good to have a corner to curl up in.
